ECA Foundation Awards $10,000 to Carnegie Museum of Natural History

The ECA Foundation has awarded Carnegie Museum of Natural History $10,000 for distance learning programs in West Virginia schools.  This program engages learners, ages five to thirteen, in a variety of interactive life science and earth science lessons using museum artifacts and specimens.  Each unique lesson is presented by a museum educator via videoconference technologies, thus allowing for learning beyond the museum walls and into the classroom.
