ECA Foundation's Partnership With DonorsChoose a Continuing Success

In 2009, the ECA Foundation donated a $20,000 matching grant to DonorsChoose for teacher projects in specified counties in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.  To date, 49 projects have been matched and fully funded, supporting 1,274 students, and 128 other individual donors have joined in with the Foundation to bring these projects to life.  DonorsChoose is a non-profit website where teachers can submit ideas for subject matter materials or experiences for students.  Individuals can then search the website for student projects and donate as little as $1 or fund the whole project.
