ECA is currently drilling its 5th 100% horizontal Marcellus shale well in Greene County, PA. This well is part of a 3-well "pad" from which ECA will drill 3 separate horizontal Marcellus wells, each 15' apart. The Company is also currently drilling the vertical section of 6 horizontal Marcellus wells on ECA's first 6-well pad. ECA anticipates that this type of development will be the norm going forward in Greene County and other areas in order to maximize accessible reserves and
production while minimizing environmental footprint and cost. Finally, ECA is preparing for its fourth horizontal Marcellus fracture stimulation in Greene County, and the Company's three completed horizontal Marcellus wells are currently producing a total of 6.7 mmcf/d.
