On January 29th and 30th, Energy Corporation of America and KBR hosted the Homes For Our Troops 3rd Annual Houston Sporting Clays Event. Over 5,000 people attended, including the Coors national cook team, The Cowboy Club, who prepared and served a prime rib dinner to the volunteers and sponsors on Thursday night. The event raised $125,000 to build specially adapted homes for returning veterans, at no cost to the veterans.
Attendees included Major General Eldon Regua, Commander 75th Command Training Division, James Roberts, Mayor of Fulshear, Texas, James Thompson, Mayor of Sugar Land, Texas, John Gonsalves, Founder and President of Homes For Our Troops, John Mork, President and CEO of ECA, Julie Mork, Managing Director of the ECA Foundation, and ECA Board Members Pete Coors and John Fischer.
