ECA Foundation Partners With DonorsChoose.org For Its "Double Your Impact" Program.

The ECA Foundation has partnered with DonorsChoose.org for its "Double Your Impact" Program. Through the website http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/search.html?matchingId=9 donors are able to give to high needs schools in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Their contributions are then matched by the ECA Foundation. To date, $1,509 of the grant has been spent to fund 7 classroom projects, matched by another $1,509 from individual donors. These projects alone are providing over 1500 instructional hours to 613 students.

DonorsChoose is a non-profit website where teachers can submit ideas for subject matter, materials or experiences for students. Individuals can then search the website for student projects and donate as little as $1 or fund the whole project. DonorsChoose supports creative teachers in an environment of shrinking school district funding.
